Alternatively, you can also use CBD bath salts which are easy to make at home. Simply mix together 3 cups of plain Epsom salts, 100-200 mg of CBD oil, and 10 drops of your favourite essential oil. Mix and allow to dry, and store in an airtight container. Use a heaping cupful in every bath.
How to Make a CBD Bath Bomb
Use your full-spectrum hemp CBD oil to create a bath bomb to enhance your relaxation and wellness during your next bath night. Start with a plastic or metal bath bomb mould, or, if you don’t mind the shape, you can simply form it into a ball and place it into a container with a cover.
- 100-200 mg of CBD oil
- 4 oz baking soda
- 2 oz citric acid
- 2 oz Epsom salt
- 2 oz cornstarch
- 1 tsp. water
- 1 tsp. coconut oil
- 5-10 drops of your favourite essential oil
- 1-2 drops of food colouring (optional)
Whisk all of the dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Whisk until they are fully blended. Melt the coconut oil in the microwave for 30 seconds. Mix the wet ingredients into a smaller bowl. Slowly combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients to prevent foaming, whisking gently until the mixture is moist, but not too wet. If it is too dry, add water 1 teaspoon at a time.
Fill the mould on the top and bottom and press the two halves together. Take the top part of the mould off, and leave the bomb to dry for an hour in the bottom part of the mould. Remove the entire mixture from the mould to dry overnight, and your CBD-infused bath bomb is ready to use.
